QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
• Minimum of 6 Months relevant experience.
• Minimum Grade 9.
• Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
• Knowledge of construction working environment.
• Knowledge of relevant tools equipment and material.
• Physically and medically fit.
• Communication.

– A valid Code 14 (EC1 Driver’s Licence.
– PrDP
– Valid Crane Operator Certificate.
• Must have 2 years relevant experience.
• A Driver’s assessment will be conducted by Fleet and must be passed before appointment.
• C-Green Training and certificate must be passed within the probation period.
• Basic knowledge of relevant legislation (Code 29), Crane Operator Certificate, Safety
• Basic knowledge of Vehicle Care, Road Rules and Regulations to be operated.
• Be technical minded.
• Be able to complete relevant Vehicle Inspection.
• Be able to repair and maintain the relevant vehicles, equipment and tools in a good running condition.

• Minimum Grade 10 with Mathematics and English.
• At least 3 years’experience in the Trade Welding field.
• Experience as an operator 1 & 2 will be an advantage.
• Be in possession of all the following valid Esselenpark (School of Rail) Certificate:
1) Repairing of Wheel Spin Burns, Safe Handling of Gas and Metallurgy

• Must be in possession of:
– A valid Code C Driver’s Licence
– PrDP Certificate
– Competent to drive a vehicle through TRF Driver Assessment Process
• At least 1 to 2 years’ relevant experience.
• Trackman Certificate and have been assessed by Transnet accredited assessor after completing the practical experience as completed.
• Valid C-Green Certificate as to be able to work underlive OHTE conditions
• Knowledge of Perway Construction and/or maintenance work and safety requirements as set out Outputs
