Are you interested in working in an operations environment in one of South Africa’s biggest banking groups? Standard Bank has an operations Learnership programme available for young people interested in a career in banking transactions.

The Operations Learnership programme at Standard Bank is in the Corporate and Investment Banking section and would be perfect for you if you are interested in working in a operations environment.

This Learnership focuses on the processing of transactions but would include many cutting edge technologies like robotics process automation, machine learning optical character recognition, system development and lots more.

The one-year Learnership is for a graduate South African citizen between 18 and 30 who can speak, read and write in English. You will be paid a stipend of R10,000 per month.

Minimum Requirements:

The candidate must:
•    Be a South African Citizen
•    Be between the ages of 18 and 30
•    Be able to speak, read and write English
•    Have successfully completed a Tertiary Qualification relating to Finance, Accounting, Operations and or a Bachelor of Commerce; Bachelor Business Science; Finance and Investment Banking; Economics; Engineering; STEM; BSc Mathematics.
•    Be computer literate
•    Not be permanently employed
•    Not be studying at any other institution
•    Not be registered on any other learnership.
