SANDF Military Programme Applications Form For 2024/2024 Training

Closing Date : 15 March 2024

The military skills development system allow South Africa to serve in the four arms of the military on a two years contract.

The Application Form must be submitted with the following Certified  documents 

• Copy of ID
• Copy of matric or Grade 12 Certificate
• A short Cv
• Highest achieved qualifications eg (National,  Diploma, N6 certificate or Degree).

South Africa National Defence force ( SANDF) is offering an opportunity for unemployed young to apply for the military skills development system (MSDS) 2024. This program appears to be a training initiative that spans 2 years and take places in all 9 Provinces of South Africa.

Minimum Requirements for the (MSDS) 2024 / 2025

• South African citizen (Relinquish any other Citizenship)
• Age between 18- 22 at the time of joining (complete Grade 12 or N3 with 6 Subjects in including 2 languages ) or not more  than 26 if in position of a 3_ years tertiary qualifications (Degree, Diploma ,National or N6 with N4 and N5 prescript )
• Preferably single
• Comply with medical fitness requirements for appointment in the SANDF.
• Currently jn Grade 12 or complete Grade 12 equivalent with Subjects specific to a career selection.
• Not be area bound.
• Have no criminal records.
• Comply with medical fitness requirements for appointment in the SANDF.
• Must be willing to relocate and participate in deployments both in South Africa and abroad if required to do so.
• Be recommended by a selection board.

After competition of military and officers training the first year ,combat  Engineering and technical candidates will commence studies at Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Durban University of Technology and University of Cape Town.

Applicants are reminded that form can be found at all SANDF regional offices as well as on the official website. SANDF reminds candidates that the Application process is free and no amount of money is required to apply.

Member of the public are encouraged to report such action or persons who demand money with the promise of employment in the SANDF to the nearest police station or SANDF unit and base.
