General Workers (EPWP)

CALL FOR THE UNEMPLOYED (Youth, women, and people with disabilities)

The Chief Albert Luthuli Local Municipality will be running the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP).
Therefore, calls upon all the unemployed youth, women, and people with disabilities to participate.
The Programme is targeting the following persons:

EXPANDED PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMME (EPWP): WORKERS X 79

Duties include but are not limited to the following: Patching of potholes; Sealing of surfaces with interlocking pave blocks; construction of soil retaining structures; construction of pavement; cleaning of stormwater drains, waste removal, water & sanitation services, and beautification of Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality.

STIPEND: @ a daily rate of R140-00
Community Liaison Officer x 5 (1 x Carolina; 1 x Emanzana; 1 x Elukwatini; 2x Empuluzi)

STIPEND: (maximum R3700-00 per month) as per the Council Resolution.

The EPWP will run for a period of Nine (09) Months (on a month-to-month basis) and the anticipated commencement date is 01 August 2022 until 28th April 2023.
