The applicant was receiving other social grant from Sassa
The age group of the applicant does not fall within the required age groups.

So, what steps does one have to take if they were declined do to UIF registered reason?
UIF says that, people do not have to go to UIF offices to be removed on theĀ UIF database; rather they must appeal the decision directly with Sassa.
How to appeal for SRD Grant declined?
If you still believe that you are eligible for the SRD grant, you have to lodge an appeal with Sassa. You can do this every month of each rejection.

Step 3: Click on the yellow bar
Step 4: Fill in the required information on the fields provided.
