Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Currently in Matric or have completed Matric.
  • Intending to study towards a first undergraduate or Honours qualification in 2025.
  • Studying or accepted to study full-time at a recognized and accredited public University or University of Technology in South Africa.
  • Strong academic record, including passing Mathematics in Matric (not Mathematics Literacy).
  • Minimum overall average of 65% for the 2024 academic year and for all subjects aligned with the chosen University qualification.
  • Demonstrated financial need, to be determined by household income.
